Project Description:

The construction of 350 apartments on floors varying from 4 - 15 above ground level. A basement car deck with some 200no cars Concrete frame + MEP + fit out of 350 apartments Sprinklers to all apartments Dry riser to 15 storey section. Passenger lifts to all areas. Big and Small are responsible for the full fit out, including the M&E, drylining, Fire stopping and decoration. 

Key challenges

Big and Small were responsible for the entire fit-out process once the concrete frame and basement were complete, from conception to completion. This included the dry lining, M&E, and facade installation. The project required close collaboration between all construction disciplines to ensure successful delivery of over 3 buildings.

  • Seamless integration of M&E systems over the 3 separate buildings
  • We are working to meet the requirements of the new Building Safety Act, which comes into effect on 1 April 2023, aimed at improving the design, construction, and management of higher-risk buildings.
  • Dry lining installation to meet design specifications and Fire regulations, including the integration of the Fire stopping. 
  • Design and installation and enhancing both aesthetics and performance of the Facade, whilst working towards the new 
  • Timely project completion despite logistical challenges
  • Adherence to strict health and safety standards throughout construction.
